TITLE: Thermal, Medical & Wellness Spa Expert, International Speaker & Lecturer

Mike Wallace has worked in the spa/leisure/health and fitness industry in operations, product development and planning for more than 20 years. Originally starting out as a fitness instructor he worked up through the ranks to club and regional management for LivingWell Health Clubs and Soho Gyms. In 1999 he designed, set up and operated 7 fitness clubs for Danubius Hotels spread across Hungary and Central Europe and went on to be Brand Manager/Spa Director being responsible for the operations, business performance and development of 18 complex medical health spas across Hungary, Slovakia, Romania and Czech Republic. In addition to over 20 years hands on experience in medical spa, wellness and fitness management, his remit includes the planning and launching of many large scale medical spa/fitness/wellness projects and redevelopments in both Central Europe and the UK. He is a speaker at spa and wellness conferences and lectures for the Budapest Business & Metropolitan Universities on Health and Wellness Tourism and Spa Management, in addition to writing articles and books on health, wellness and spa management.


Mike Wallace je preko 20 godina angažovan u wellness i spa industriji na  razvoju wellness i spa turističkih proizvoda i projekata , operativnom planiranju i rukovodjenju.

Kao brend menadžer i spa direktor u Danubius hotelima, 20 godina je bio zadužen za poslovanje i razvoj 18 medicinskih zdravstvenih ,spa rizorta  u Madjarskoj Slovačkoj, Rumuniji i Češkoj .

Angažovan je I na planiranju i razvoju velikih wellness ,spa i fitnes projekata u Centralnoj Evropi i Velikoj Britaniji. Predavač na konferencijama i predavač na Budapest Business & Metropolitan Univerzitetu  na predmetu Zdravstveni i wellnes  turizam i spa menadžment.

Objavljuje  stručne tekstove i knjige na temu spa menadžment .

How our life will be post covid and how this will affect spa tourism is the current hot topic. Lockdowns, financial insecurity and time to think have had their impact on people's mental health and outlook on life. The new post covid guest visiting spas will be seeking more than Balneotherapy. By widening the scope from physical rehabilitation to an all-round health and prevention approaches with a particular emphasis on mental and emotional wellness spas can cater for this new demand.
